Files on your computer
The app reads selected files and folder paths for QC, sorting, metadata and reports. Raster QC is local. Report only writes reports; Copy or Move copies or moves files according to your selection. Local reports and logs can contain filenames, paths and metadata.
Local processing does not send the entire folder or QC results to WD DIGI servers. You control files, reports and logs on your computer; remove them from their locations when no longer needed. Uninstalling does not necessarily remove user-selected output folders.
Images sent for AI metadata
When you run AI metadata with an OpenRouter key and vision model, the app sends eligible original image bytes and metadata instructions to OpenRouter and the routed model provider. Content can include faces, text and metadata embedded in the original. EXIF removal before transmission is not guaranteed.
OpenRouter receives the key for authentication. Retention, processing location, data use and routing depend on your account settings and the policies of OpenRouter and the model provider. WD DIGI does not promise zero retention or that providers never use data for training.
You can choose local QC without AI metadata, clear the key and stop subsequent requests. The app cannot recall a request already sent. Only process files you are entitled to use; avoid confidential or personal content without an appropriate basis and permission.
API keys and security
In this build the key is used during the session, not intentionally stored as permanent configuration. It is not sent to WD DIGI servers. Do not include it in support email or screenshots. Clear it from the app and revoke it in OpenRouter if exposed.
API connections use HTTPS. Transport protection does not guarantee a risk-free computer or third-party service. Protect local paths and logs as well.
Store purchases and licensing
The Store edition uses Windows.Services.Store to obtain purchase or trial entitlement from Microsoft. Microsoft handles payment and Microsoft accounts; the app does not provide WD DIGI with card numbers.
Gumroad/Lynk codes and device activation for Direct are not Store licensing. Direct purchase data and support follow that channel and are not automatically covered by this Store explanation.
Website and support
This website does not request image uploads, accounts, API keys or payments. We have not added advertising trackers. Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure visits, page URLs, browser and performance through a beacon without analytics cookies. Fonts and assets are served from this website. Cloudflare provides hosting, DNS and security; IP addresses, URLs, access times and browser information can be processed for delivery and security.
Email to support@wddigi.com provides the sender address, message and attachments you choose to share. We use them to respond to requests. Cloudflare Email Routing and the destination inbox may handle email; replies may use Resend. Do not send keys, passwords, full payment details or files you cannot share.
Retention, rights and changes
You control local files and output. API retention follows the provider. Support data is kept as needed to resolve requests, retain relevant transaction records or meet legal obligations; one fixed period cannot apply to every provider.
